where Art is healing and healing is an art
Objective:
To guide clients along a transformational path and guide them to access the life and healing potential which is inherent within
them. I also seek to communicate through my Qi-art, studies of physio-emotional vibrating bio-energy and to educate about
the power of Qi-Art tools.
Healing Background:
As a sickly ten year old, plagued with allergies to all most everything, I turned away from western medications. Since then
I have been on a journey to master my inner self. This path led me to my gift as a talented healer using cosmic chi energy
(1988).
Qigong ( the healing practice of breath and energy) became my passion (1998) when I started studying energy healing exercises
and Qigong Medical, with Dr. Robert Carpenter.
I have a active energy healing practice, teach Qigong classes, workshops and lead group healing sessions with my Qi-Art.
Painting:
I started painting while on a Mexican, Cabo San Lucas escape from the world of business (1985). Art for me started as a
tool for personal growth, an extension of an intensive consciousness awareness program I participated in the prior year.
Inner physical or emotional sensations are the theme of my art.
My paintings have thick, heavy layers of translucent acrylic paint, that cuts a deep, flowing texture and creates a clear,
marbleized quality-like a child's marble or a cat's eye. The translucence pulls viewers deeper into a painting as they see
multiple layers at one time. Some paintings use two gallons of artist grade paint.
Family:
With marimbas playing, I was married to Maya Itzna in Guatemala, (1987). The following year, we moved to northern New Mexico
to participate in the booming art business. I cut the cord at the birth of our adopted son Aesop. (1998)
M&M Studios:
As a team with Maya, we painted (in Maya's primitive whimsical style) selling over 2800 pieces of functional art furniture,
pottery, and clothing in Santa Fe. We painted murals, artistically refinished three homes and illustrated numerous children's
stories.
Under development:
Presently I am developing a series of books and products designed to guide one along their healing path. It also include
tools one could use when guiding others.
Education:
Studied Qigong Energy Healing with Dr. Robert Carpenter, Shen Chi Tao Institute. Graduated with Diploma (1998)
Self taught artist with a few classes in Berkley California. Alice Houser Wolf was an influential teacher. (1985)
